Wild Weddings & Events
Back in 2018, when I was travelling full time for a year, I tried to figure out what it was that would make me happy in life, long term. I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and start my own business because of the freedom it brings. I started to think about my skills and all the things I enjoy doing and every time I came back to ‘planning’. Planning is in my nature and is something that will always make me happy. I realised that I’ve been planning events ever since I was a teenager. From birthdays to surprise party’s, outdoor games to silent disco’s. I was always busy planning future travels, finding the best deals and creating the ultimate itinerary.
While travelling I read an interview with a weddingplanner and suddenly it hit me: ‘Is this even a real job?! This is ME!!’ I started to look for wedding planning courses and eventually graduated as a licensed weddingplanner in december 2020. And here we are. What started as Wild Weddings eventually became Wild Weddings & Events. Because next to my obsession with all things wedding related (styling, photography, love!) I’m also very passionate about festivals, nightlife, performances and basically everything that asks for a celebration. From babyshowers to birthdays. Lastly, with all my travel experience it made sense to me to also offer a travel planning service.
In 2021 I decided it was time for me to start following my dreams. To built something for myself, a concept that is fully me. Life’s too short and way too magical not to live the life of your dreams. When I did my first wedding I just knew it; everything felt right, and I couldn’t wait to meet all the future wild-wedding-couples. But my ambitions don’t end there. I see myself working in the festival and nightlife industry too, since music is also a big passion of mine.
An open-minded, kind-hearted and sensitive human being with a love for all things wild and free. I’m non-traditional, a rebel, adventurer, a creative and lover of life. I like to think outside the box, always. Crazy about weddings, travelling, music and living the wild life.
